CEMPRI Ltda., now CEMPRI S.A.S., was founded by its current CEO Fernando Sastoque Melani in 1983, a Textile Engineer graduated in Rio de Janeiro, Brasil. The company originated in the idea of serving the small and medium textile industry companies. Initially the most important tensoactive products for preparation, dyeing, finishing and sizing of yarns and fabrics were commercialized just like printing specialties too. Afterward the exclusive representation of Rite Industries (now defunct), producer of acid reactive and disperse dyes, was taken. Gradually a range of anti-static lubricants for every type of fiber were added. Towards the future the company's goal is to continue expanding with products for different industries and with the sight fixed on social and environment sustainability.
